Scalp lock, 19th century, seven colored glass trade beads decorate the wrapped rawhide ring and two game bird feathers are fastened with gut that hang from it.  The braided hair scalp lock itself is fastened to the top of the ring with gut and rawhide and is in the center.  It was part of the Brodst Collection of Redding Pennsylvania (1870-1907).  Museum quality.
